There is a long-standing tradition of choral singing in SPNS. Each class has music lessons with our specialist music teacher and sing on many occasions during the school year at assemblies and school services. 

We also have a school choir made up of boys and girls from 4th-6th class. Auditions for the school choir take place in September. The school choir lead the singing at school assemblies and perform at school services as well as being guest performers at concerts in the local area and taking part in Corfhéile Scoileanna. 

The school has an ensemble where children are encouraged to demonstrate their skills playing a wide variety of musical instruments. The ensemble also take part in school services and take part in Corfhéile Scoileanna.
