Green Schools News

Bree is a spirited and standout font that takes its inspiration from handwriting. It’s sure to grab your reader’s attention, especially in short paragraphs.

Here in SPNS, we have just been awarded our 4th Green Flag. There are 7 essential steps to the Green Schools' programme. These are:

  • Environmental Review

  • Action Plan

  • Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Curriculum Work

  • Informing and Involving

  • Green Code

 

Last year, our focus was on Biodiversity and the implementation of such in SPNS. Biodiversity looks at steps which can be taken to increase awareness of the importance of native plants, animals and habitats, and to increase species-richness in a locality.
